We celebrated Becca's birthday with a party this past Saturday. She had been home for a week and a half with the flu, and was facing piles of makeup homework and the birthday party. Friday morning she broke into hives on her face, arms, and hands. She was itchy and miserable! Saturday was the same way, but her flu was gone - just the hives remained and she definately wanted the party to happen! Livi made owl cupcakes and we had the party at a local artist guild where weaving, pottery, and all kinds of art are created~! The girls came one by one and were guided through their project by Beth, a pottery teacher. The girls were concentrating and were very quiet! I should have brought some music because nobody talked! Everyone made really pretty flower pots, then had the cupcakes and we went home!
This week the pots will be fired in a kiln then I'll deliver the finished product to the home of each girl.

Poor Becca! She's really been through it this last couple weeks. I love the pictures of the cute girls. They all look sweet and totally engrossed in what they're doing. Sounds like the perfect party to me!
Hope everyone is starting to feel well again.
We love you all,
Mom/Gram
