HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

This year, the 4th of July is on a Sunday so on the 3rd of July we went to Ferry Farm and did some crafts and played some games. Emmy is here with us this 4th and we got some blue flipflops and tied red, white, and blue ribbons on them. That night, we had a huge barbecue party and lit some "legal" fireworks. We all had a great time...but the best ones were in Washington D.C. We drove to Washington D.C. on Sunday and layed out our things and waited for the wonderful, spectacular fireworks behind the Washington Monument. Before then, we went to the Air and Space Museum and there were some celebrities at the capitol singing and acting on the stage. We all had a really good time and the finale was the best...Have a great summer!

Here is our little "campsite"

We thought this picture of Thomas Jefferson looked like it was from a movie.

Becca had fun weaving the loom.

Wow! You've really been celebrating the Fourth! Everything sounds sooooo fun, and it appears you survived the crowds and the heat. Good for you. We're glad you had such a fun and historical time. Nice photos, Livi. Thanks for blogging for us.

Love you lots.
